Oh, I am not sure I will really be able to blog properly. Rest assured, our west coast trip has been nothing short of fabulous.
Last week we spent some time down at Power Paws, training and laughing and having a real blast. This, after three days of awesome European Open practice time with the entire, super awesome, gigantic team. Also three days of kickin’ times with Laura, Kep and Brew. On Monday we went to Monterey Bay for an adventure, then some fun focused training during that week. Played around with some coach’s eye stuff, even. Rev got to swim. We hiked around the property. It is truly one of my favorite places to visit I think. Good vibes and great people.
Then we were off to Oregon for seminar-ing and more adventures. The seminar was so, so fun… if not also crazy HOT. Sorry. This is the third place I seem to have brought the heat with me during times when it was not expected (also Illinois and Colorado). My apologies, but hey I think it was good practice. Hah.
I have gotten to meet people on this trip who I have known through blogging and social media for years. Finally, our paths crossed in real time, in real life. Amazing. The brilliance of the universe, man.
We went to the coast, we hiked a piece of Mt. Hood, we made jam (and it FITS IN MY SUITCASE!!), we got our Poodletopia on. We listened to Jack Johnson even though Tammy and Heidi never had before. Blasphemy, but it’s okay it’s fixed.
Off to Washington now, for a three day seminar. Then home. I miss it, of course, but not as much as I thought I would by this point. Sinking into some gypsy love, travelling the globe with speckled magic, meeting beautiful souls, squishing my toes in the sand and breathing in life. Wow.
