Good streeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch,

is what I tell Rev every morning as we roll ourselves onto the floor to prep for the day ahead. She leans in, she leans out; deep breath — extend, and compress. Let’s go.

Feed the dragon dog. Shower, hair, makeup, jeans, shorts (what’s the temperature you say?), books, mat, bike. On the road at 8:00. Class from 8:30 to 11:30, yoga, home. Except for Tuesdays and Thursdays. We sleep in on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Also 4-5 pm lab. With Kevin the pigeon. That I might be skipping on Friday because everyone seems to like to put USDAA tournament classes on Fridays.

First semester I haven’t planned my classes around an agility schedule. Freeing.

This is not the first time I will sing this song this year, and if you see me on Friday, I will be singing it. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling 22!

I dropped the miss Rev to 22″ for the year because why not? She thinks it is the coolest of beans so far. If someone would so kindly remind me to run come Friday’s Masters Challenge Jumpers class, that’d be great. That is, unless I do not skip my pigeon lab, in which case please remind my roommate to run come Friday’s Masters Challenge Jumpers class. (Jordan also does agility with Rev’s best buddy Blitz and generously agreed to run Rev on Friday if I am otherwise occupied. Agility roommate, ftw.)

Statistics isn’t hard yet but it will be. Cupcakes:

I am currently working on outlining a summer seminar schedule. Started at the beginning of the year but had to let it go for the first week of classes. The summer looks nearly booked solid and I am overflowing with excitement (cue confetti — this has become a thing, Dawn; I am now obsessed with confetti, both metaphorical and real), but also gratitude. I have been in contact with many people from the agility community lately, in many different ways, and all I can say is, wow. What a neat place.

Yet I’m excited for the now, too.

Saw Frozen by myself on Friday and laughed, and laughed, and laughed. And laughed. It is a very important movie in my mind. Solid gold. Also I signed up for archery.

Speaking of archery….Have you read “we Need to Talk About Kevin” by The exceptional American Writer Lionel Shriver?

You are too adorable!! Thanks for recommending Frozen. I will plan to see it since it brought you such mirth. Is that a good word?
    Love….a bushel and a peck
